Misty has now the ability to provide our food/pet food customers with professional advice to help locate the Hazardous Analysis and Critical Control Points within their plants. This service is a great addition to our growing list of food and pet food capabilities.
Madisonville, June, 2017 - McCoy & McCoy Laboratories, Inc. continues to meet regulatory requirements by using sample containers properly labeled via 29 CFR 1910.1450. This OSHA standard's intent is to provide opportunities for safe handling of hazardous chemicals. In compliance with this standard, proper labeling of all containers will help educate the user of the chemical/testing preservative of what is inside the container; therefore, providing a level of safety to the end user. Beginning July, 2017, MMLI will provide our customers with sample containers that comply to this CFR standard.
Madisonville, May, 2017 - "See something, Say something" is not just a slogan for MMLI. It travels to our customer sites as well. One of MMLI Field Technicians, Matt Woodring was recognized by a major chemical company for his role of alerting personnel of an abnormal situation. Once it was investigated it was merely fire training that was being conducted on the company's property. But as the spokesman for the company stated, "what if it wasn't?" This is a good example of being aware of your surroundings that can help reduce safety incidents.
Madisonville, March, 2017 - McCoy & McCoy Laboratories, Inc continues to give back to our communities. The United Way of Hopkins County presented MMLI with their Silver Award. This recognition is for providing donations at the level of $30.00/capita. A huge thanks to all the employees that worked hard to make this happen!
Madisonville, April, 2017 - McCoy & McCoy Laboratories, Inc. is proud to announce that Mr. Brett Davis has been promoted as the Quality Assurance Manager. Brett started his career with MMLI has a Field Tech in our Paducah laboratory. Brett's ambition and drive has allowed him to have several promotions from which his last posion was a Project Manager for key customers. Brett's has a Masters in Watershed Science & Conservation, with a Bachelors' of Science in Biology, from Murray State University.
