March, 2015 - MMLI's Lexington Laboratory, has successfully completed the Commonwealth of Kentucky's Wastewater Certification Program audit. Since 1952 MMLI has generated sound and defensible data. Before the KY Wastewater Certification Program was in existence, MMLI adopted the NELAP quality system protocols in all laboratories. These certification programs enables laboratory users to feel confident their analytical results were derived within a quality system that meets or exceeds EPA requirements.
Madisonville, September, 2015 - McCoy & McCoy Laboratories, Inc. provided DOT hazardous materials training in the Madisonville office to 15 of its employees. Madisonville's laboratory is a small quantity generator and is proud of our waste disposal program. As part of our business model to assist our clients with environmental testing services, it is our obligation to handle our waste in a professional manner. Madisonville, April, 2015 - McCoy & McCoy Laboratories, Inc. has participated in its 4th AOAC-OMA study as a Performance Tested Method (PTM) lab for a major food safety manufacturer in less than a year. Our commitment to a robust quality system has allowed MMLI to be targeted by major instrumentation providers to assist in validating their proprietary methods in tandem with regulatory guidelines set forth by the FDA, FSIS, USDA, etc. MMLI's data will be a part of a publication to be released in the near future in the AOAC Journal. With this publication, customers will only have more reasons to trust MMLI from an analytical and microbiological standpoint that their food safety program is handled with the highest regard for accuracy.
